Weak: A Draco Malfoy Fanfiction

It's Year 4 at Hogwarts for Claire and the Golden Trio. With the chaos unraveling around them, Claire is often overshadowed by her three friends, and she doesn't mind. The subtlety of her existence allows her peace.
This year, however, is different. She seems to be straying away from the Trio and leaning more towards her Slytherin friends, specifically Pansy Parkinson.

She unknowingly catches the eye of a certain Slytherin Prince and suddenly, peace is hard to come by. She caught his eye and the eye of every boy in the school, making her an enemy to those who see her as competition and a prize to those who see her as a jewel.

As the years go by Malfoy becomes protective of her, she never encourages it, but he feels drawn to her.

Draco always gets what he wants. How far is he willing to go to get his princess? Does he care about her or is she just some trophy for him to claim?
And in the end, when all is dark, will one be what saves the other?
