The Princess & The Queen

"Her orbs gleamed with fury "Aegon is the king's firstborn son! Tis his birthright!." Queen Alicent stood abruptly.

"Birthright?" Enraged Princess stood up. "And I am my father's acknowledged Heir! He chose me, because I am worthy!" She said, glaring daggers at her stepmother.

Alicent couldn't hold her tongue, not this time. "Worthy of such a seat? By doing what? Parading around court in gems and silks?" She spat viciously. "DragonStone is an island! Tis not a toy." Alicent argued.

"You yourself treat the Iron Throne like a toy, Aegon and I are the contenders fighting for it! Or tis not your intention to supplant me as heir!" Rheanyra retorts.

Alicent seethed. "You are beneath me."

Rheanyra scoffs. "Exhausting wasn't it? hidden beneath the cloak of your own righteousness, now they see as you are. And will always come second, just as Aegon!"

King Viserys bangs the table. "SILENCE!"

THE GREENS & THE BLACKS tells of two best friends torn apart by men in their lives, in between marriage, duty and family.

The Greens are led by King Aegon II Targaryen, the eldest son of King Viserys I, and who was crowned in front of the civilians of King's Landing. As male heir, he has supporters who believe he is entitled to the throne to honour long-standing tradition. Team Green are the Hightower faction of the Targaryen family in line with his mother, Queen Alicent Hightower. The Hightower family use green as a call-to-arms of war.

The Blacks are led by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, and the Velaryon faction of the Targaryen family. She was named by her father, King Viserys I, as his successor to the Iron Throne. She is the first Queen of Westeros after a century of the throne being passed down to male heirs, and is supported by those who swore fealty to her in front of King Viserys I.

The two factions caused a division of civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons with Rheanyra and Alicent pitting heads to be the First Lady of the Seven Kingdoms.
