Everyday Heroes takes place in a world where some people secretly have superpowers and fight against villains. The story follows a group of teenagers who are training to become heroes, learning to control their powers while also dealing with the everyday struggles of being a teen. Kiera is the main character, but the story also focuses on the challenges faced by the other characters as they discover that being a hero isn't just about their powers, but about overcoming their own personal battles.

Trigger Warning:

This story covers sensitive topics, including mental health issues like anorexia, trauma/PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, anger disorders, and anxiety. It also talks about physical illnesses and contains graphic scenes of abuse and self-harm. I've put effort into researching these topics to make them as realistic as possible, but I may not get everything exactly right. This story is fictional and for entertainment purposes. I mean no disrespect to anyone when writing this.

They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Oh... and angry, rampaging squirrels.
