In the ancient kingdom of Eldrath, where mythical creatures, magic, and political intrigue shape the land, the Ethlete dynasty has reigned for nearly a millennium. Queen Ilyra, the sole heir to the throne, is a young woman bound by duty to protect her kingdom from the brink of darkness.

The five lands of Eldrath, each governed by rulers who report directly to the monarch, are not as united as they appear. Tensions simmer beneath the surface, with some rulers growing ambitious and secret societies pulling strings from the shadows. These hidden groups serve either to protect the kingdom or plot to overthrow the Ethletes, driven by old grudges and dark motives.

The most formidable adversary is Elira, an exiled sorceress with a claim to the throne and a burning desire for revenge. She returns to Eldrath after years of planning, determined to bring the Ethlete dynasty to its knees. Elira's motivations are rooted in her belief that the throne rightfully belongs to her bloodline, and she is willing to use any means necessary to claim it.
