Corporal Davis thought the Battle of Antietam would be like any other brutal day in the Civil War. With the crack of musket fire and the roar of cannons filling the air, he and his fellow soldiers marched toward what they believed was another bloody but familiar clash. But as they pushed deeper into the heart of the battle, strange things began to happen-the ground trembled beneath their feet, and unnatural figures emerged from the earth. Suddenly, it wasn't just Confederate forces they had to worry about. As Davis tries to make sense of the chaos, he begins to realize something far darker is at play.
