The Enemy I Hate To Love

Michelle and Emma are attracted to each other despite their differences and eventually get married. However, Michelle decides to ruin Emma's reputation after he thinks she sabotaged one of his events.

"How do I know you're not just a brilliant actress?" Tears flowed freely now.
"Because I'm not! I'm just a simple girl who made a mistake.
As I sobbed, Michelle's expression faltered.
"Listen," he said finally, his voice gentler. "Stay away from my events. And don't think this encounter will go unnoticed." I nodded, still sniffling.
