In the year 1764, Maria is thrust from her world in 2024 into a perilous time of pirates, betrayal, and uncertain alliances. Stranded on the American coast, she finds herself at the mercy of the infamous pirate captain, Stephen Bonnet-dangerous, charming, and impossible to trust. As the two are forced to pretend a bond deeper than it is to evade the law, they begin to question whether the connection they're faking is becoming real. The lines between deception and desire blur as both Maria and Stephen grapple with growing emotions neither of them expected, all while the looming threat of capture and betrayal shadows their every step. Faced with enemies at sea and secrets on board, they must navigate more than just the dangerous waters of the Atlantic.

Edit: In this story, Stephen Bonnet is not a rapist or throwing kids overboard. I loved his charm on the show but hated his exremely violent side. So I wrote this for you to enjoy his dangerous charm, without getting traumatized. He's a dangerous hard to read pirate with a strong temper out of touch with his feelings. The story has the same elements of timetraveling through the stones as written by Diana Gabaldon. I took the character Stephen from her stories and gave him a softer twist. The fanfiction hopefully has similar vibes but mostly come from my own imagination. Also be ready for some spicy chapters! Warnings: Fear🕷, Erotic🌶 scenes
