Charlie hadn't thought about The Hunt since he was a teenager, he certainly didn't expect to be offered a chance to play again.

After stealing a wallet from a tourist, Charlie is arrested and cornered. With nowhere to go and no one to lean on, he is offered an opportunity by the very man he stole from who turns out to be the manager of a small town team in Louisiana.

Sceptical, but lost for any other option- he accepts the offer and flies to the deep south. There, he is introduced to the Tremaine Wildes, the team he will be living and training with. They turn out to be a ragtag group of down and out men and women who all accepted the same offer he was given. They must learn to work as a team, despite their many differences, and win the state championship for a chance to enter the big leagues.

Charlie attempts to forget his past and look forward, only his past doesn't want to forget him. The distance between New York and Louisiana often doesn't feel far enough for Charlie, and when the drug kingpin he once stole from shows up, he knows his time is running out.

MxM - Not the healthiest romance but they work it out.

Inspired by AFTG (at this point I consider it a genre) and I really wanted to make up my own eurotrash sport. GO TEAM SPORT! SPORTS!
