Ann's life couldn't be more confusing. She is the royal girlfriend, but not for love. Prince Warren has developed a one-sided love of her, and the only reason that they're still together is to protect her family. Her family doesn't agree with the king and they strive for a change. They take part in a rebel army, that is then seperated into groups. Ann joins a new group and she learns more about the royal family than she thought was possible. But what will she do when she meets another member of the rebel party and has to learn about personal sacrifice. I'll tell you what, my story needs to be told and if anyone deserves to tell it, that'd be me. I'm Ann and trust me, there's more to my life than that.

Exiled from her own land - to be executed if she ever returns, Princess Alexandra finds herself turning a spy for the enemy. Because, well, they impress her. Especially the splendid emperor, who is indebted to Alexandra for a number of things he wouldn't tell. She doesn't mind that - because life just turns a lot more colorful outside the Palace walls - until one (not so) fine day, she realizes that the emperor no longer *only* impresses her. Unfortunately, the course of true love never runs smooth. And before she can even give herself a chance with Liam, Alexandra has to sort a few things out. Namely, all the mistakes the previous generation did. **The story starts from 339 B.C. but language used is completely modern because I don't know Ancient Greek**
