This was part of a language art project , so this isn't an official book series. It has nothing to do with my Half Past Wolf series.

Maria can't explain what she is or what she's done. After all, it shouldn't be possible for a human to conjur fire from nothing but pure will, but that hasn't stopped her before. She can't remember how she ends up bloodied, beaten half to death on a deserted doorstep in the middle of the night, but she can remember him, bringing her in. He's a little reserved but she doesn't mind, especially as they have something in common: neither one is supposed to exist outside of nightmares and folklore. Few people know Maria exists. All of them want her dead. None have felt the wrath of her new friend yet. This is an impossible story and you'd do best pretending you've never heard it.Complete

"Will you be mine?" he asked me in a husky voice. I stared at him apprehensively for a moment, thinking over his proposal carefully before finally settling on an answer that would, in the end, please us both. "Yes, Alpha. I'll be yours." For Claire life was rather mundane and boring. Nothing particularly exciting or interesting ever happened to her. Well except that she would meet her mate any day now. And for her, that day couldn’t come soon enough. When Claire finally meets her mate she is all but shocked to find that it’s the Alpha of her pack. Let’s just say they were both a little thrown by the sudden realization. For Daniel, he had always pictured himself settling down and mating his longtime girlfriend Jasmine Marshall. He was head over hills in love with her. Throw in another hot Alpha from a rival pack and a painful rejection and what do you have? A mess! A million thoughts were whirling through Claire’s mind. The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck. All characters' names and characteristics and fiction, I did not take them directly off somebody, so in cases of coincidence where you or someone you know looks like a character, my apologies, but I swear I didn't look up people and write their description.
