Lucy is just an ordinary teenage girl. She lives in the town of Magnolia, the place where you can come in, but never get out. Lucy was one of the unlucky children. Her parents and many others were tricked into dropping their children here. They were lied to and now they could never have her children back. 
    Here in the town of Magnolia you can have whatever you desire, but there's one catch. Every month, 1 name is chosen to enter the world of Smile. This month, Lucy's name was chosen. When she enters the world of Smile she will meet others who have never gotten out. Some have been there for 1 or 2 months. Others, 2 or 3 years. She will make new friends, enemies and a lover. But here in the world of Smile you must remember one thing.
    Someone always dies.
    And just remember, Smile is always summoned when the music starts. That is all.
