This tale begins with our hero The Black Reaper, as he came to be known during the war, finding a young and abandoned child that he chooses to save and train to survive. As the story unfolds we learn of Reaper's haunted past and strange connection to the zombie queens. Before this story ends the final battle will be fought and the question on everyone's mind will be answered. Will our world belong to the living or the dead?Public Domain

A genome defect has afflicted the majority of the population and scientists are desperate to find a cure. In the meantime, man has found his own salvation in the form of the QUBIT (quantum processing bio-synthetic), an android that is capable of prolonging life almost indefinitely, and yet what makes them human in the first place has been lost in the transition. The ruling council believes that salvation is nigh, but whether that hope arrives in time is questionable. The city's future depends upon the actions of a few individuals, all of whom are struggling with their own mortality. Quentin is the boy who dreams of death. Mia is the tortured soul. Trey is the soldier that defines duty. Misao is the future of the ruling council. Claire is the girl with a secret that will rock the foundations of their entire civilization. Unbeknownst to them, the entire fate of Akropolis lies in their hands. Either humanity will find a way to survive or it will sink slowly into the sea of extinction.

Unlike the bright future of a technologically advanced life full of peace and prosperity that we have been hoping for, mankind stands on the edge of extinction, as its last act of madness has summoned the evil that is lurking for our souls and lives ..... as well as our flesh. In the year 2025, humanity has finally fallen into the darkness of its own greedy desires, as evidenced by many political and even military conflicts between the nations of the international powers. The disputes between them had gotten dangerously worse to the point of declaring a nuclear war, for which everyone has paid its price..... even our beloved earth that we once knew. Today, in the year 2030, the remaining survivors who lived after that war are struggling against a totally worse enemy than our most nightmarish fears. An enemy that was born from the combination of humans' foolishness and their military superiority. This emery has taken most of our lands and changed the world to what it suits it.... Now it seeks our blood and meat to feast on... Well, if it wants to taste me.... it can kiss my ass for that.

Every supernatural creature knows to stay out of their way, because you don't mess with death. Or, at least they used to. Cammie isn't anything other than an ordinary girl who makes a mistake at a party. But her death leads to her meeting one of the reapers upset with the current state of affairs, and her life instantly gets more dangerous. While she's trailing behind this eccentric girl who claims to own her soul, she meets the very vampire that killed her- and he's not the only one who's taken an interest in her. The supernatural world is gearing up for war, and Cammie is one of the only ones with the chance to choose what side she wants to be on. Or, so she thinks.

Especially people from the FBI and many other government agencies. But I don't care. This is my goal. To be the hero our society needs. One day, I was on top of a building watching the news on my phone, when I saw that there was a situation happening with a serial killer holding a FBI agent hostage on top of a insurance building. So i did what I needed to do as society's hero. Get rid of the bad people. However, the serial killer had other plans as he pushed the agent off the building so I went to save him with using my various tools to catch him and have both of us land safely to the ground. Wars are not something out of the ordinary, are they? We hear about them every day. But for the people that live them, it is more than a punishment from the gods. It is a never-ending agony which the victims have to fight in order to survive. They fight to honour the fallen ones, to protect what they cherish the most, to make their stories heard. They fight for their glory which was lost alongside the people they once knew. They fight for a better future, one without conflicts, one with the freedom they wish to have. But even so, they try to live simple lives in the end, no matter what happens in the meantime. "But can you truly call it living if you cannot sense your freedom, if you cannot wander the streets of your own city without the fear of one day being discovered and killed because of the way you are born? Because of your gift from the gods? Maybe... But it is for us to see what future planned for its people." The second part of the story "Glory in War" focuses on learning the history of a convicted race which hides underground from a city ruled by a twisted man, unable to see the light of day, nor to feel this concept of "freedom" they've built. After a few problems encountered by these beings in the first part, they decide to take a small rest from all the matters they have to face every day. Yet even so, they cannot help but remember their past and everything that has happened throughout their journey. And it won't take long before the past will catch up on them and haunt them all over again.
