Frowning at his almost fatherly tone - as if he was speaking to a silly child - she grasped his hand when he again tried to stroke her cheek, pushing it away.

"I know well enough... But I don't hate you, do I? I'm still here, aren't I? I never truly feared you and I doubt I ever will; because I know that - no matter how monstrous you may appear in front of others - you're no monster. You're just Loki... my Loki..."
