Flicker - Hurt/comfort
Toph is injured. He's in too much pain and when he thinks it's over, Paige swoops in with her magical healing powers. But not without a price. Every time she uses her power, she experiences the same pain as the one she's healing. On top of all that, something shady has been happening in the town... can Toph and Paige put a stop to the evil all through the pain? Find out now, going through love and trial firsthand with them! Hurt/comfort. YA romance. The boy with the mysterious powers with scars and wounds, wounds that are both physical and emotional. He has been forced to work in a dreary place all his life. Now he isn't sure who he is, what he can do to finally enjoy life. And most of all, he doesn't have anyone to trust. The girl with healing powers. A great gift, but also a curse. There's always a consequence when she uses her powers, and she isn't sure she can handle her power anymore. She feels like she's nothing, there's nobody who loves her. There's only the people who use her, think of her as a useful 'thing' to have. They collide, and they see flickers of themselves through each other. As they get to know each other and heal, they start to realize there's something meaningful in living itself. There's more than just living. ** I love when characters get hurt or have illness and all that...hehe so there will be a lot of physical, emotional injuries and healing&bonding( right from the start! ). I'll make sure to put a lot of hurt/comfort in there. ** Thank you for reading! I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him. He is strong enough to cast away the nightmares, to fight my demons scaring them away, to erase my scars with his tender touch. He teaches me to fight back, to be strong, to scream for help because now there is someone always coming to my rescue. Because now I have someone who loves me. Now I have him, my beautiful warrior, my soulmate, my leelen. We might not have met like normal people would, but again we are not normal and we are definitely not people. Even so our bond is stronger than anything and anyone. But finding my leelan is not the end of my story, it's just the beginning...Complete

I look up at him, his face nothing but a hazy memory. His head is tilted down towards me and I think about how odd it must be for him too. If we kissed, would we find each other's lips? Would it be as natural as breathing? He's mere inches from me and just the presence of his body is suffocating. I don't even have to see his face to know how well he makes my body react. Goosebumps trickling down my arms, and the hairs on the back of my neck rising like sunflowers facing the sun. It's as if I can really see his face. His features and the looks he gives. It's so familiar, so in-tune with me, that I feel like I've always seen it. I can feel his eyes set on me, my figure under his gaze. I can feel the tension in the air and I'm not even sure if I'm breathing. "That necklace around your neck," he scoffs. "What about it?" I ask, my voice low. "I've seen it every single time I've seen you and it drives me insane. It's the one thing I can see below your face." Something clicks into place for me. The puzzle pieces align, and I feel alive. "Then take it off and put your hand there, I can wear that instead," I grin. __ Scarlett Moore. I always considered myself a good person, helping others is my ultimate goal even my job shows you that. It was how I was raised by my adoptive father. I am truly loved, don't get me wrong I don't have a massive family but who needs one when you have a loving father and a best friend that's always there for you. I always thought my life was normal, I mean yes some weird things have happened in my life but that's normal well I thought it was until I started having these dreams. The dreams where one extremely attractive man is trying to seduce me which brings the truth on what really going on to light.
