Kari "Sparrow" Ambers survived the explosion of the Asteroid Belt. She survived the deaths of her parents. And she survived being framed for a heinous crime just a couple years after that. Now she has to survive the toughest prison in whatever is left of the US. She gets along well enough and even makes a friend. But she's in for a shock when she makes a mysterious discovery in the bathroom one day. Sparrow's life is turned upside down once again when she is thrown right into the middle of the prison's dark secret, all the while getting a disturbing blast from her past.
