I looked out the window to see the mesmerizing girl in my sweater sitting out on my balcony as she gazed out. I didn't understand why she felt the need to sit in the cold but maybe she just needed space. She'd been out there for a good half hour and I was starting to worry. I grabbed my jacket and put it on before I opened the sliding door to check on her. The cold wind nipped at the exposed skin on my face. I knew it was cold, it was nearly winter and I was freezing. I couldn't possibly understand how she could sit out here. "Dam, it's cold. Why are you out here? It'll be warming inside." "I like the cold." She simply said. I just felt the need to know her even though I didn't want to pry but my mouth just seemed to have a mind of it's own and the words slipped through my lips, "What if I said I wanted to get to know you?" And before I could take back what I said she replied, "I'd said you wouldn't want to get to know me..." And those words just fuelled my intentions to get to know her even more. After I was set on something, there was no stopping me.
