In some cases, that's true. Well, in a lot of cases I should say.

This is the story of two girls. Ashley Mayweather, a shy, somewhat introverted genius who simply wants nothing more but to live a normal life. But having to deal with idiots, bullies, school work, an unsupportive father, and mental illnesses isn't really helping her to achieve that goal. Martriana "Martti" Kitchen, a extroverted tomboy who loves to goof off and live free with her own fair share of problems. Half-ass ex-boyfriends, an unsupportive mother, idiots (it's always idiots), and having to deal with being born a hermaphrodite. Yes, these two girls have lots of problems to overcome.

But... when the two girls meet, it's practically love at first sight. So follow the story of Ashley and Martti, as they go life, drama, and heartbreak. All while trying to uphold a relationship.
