When Constable Benton Fraser, ever-polite Mountie, stumbles onto a smuggling ring in Chicago, he doesn't expect to meet a reluctant "translator" with far too much knowledge of antique swords. Methos, the world's oldest Immortal, just wants to survive another century without complications-but Fraser's relentless courtesy won't let him slip away. What begins as an uneasy partnership quickly spirals into duels, stakeouts, and philosophical debates on duty versus survival. Fraser responds to Methos's miraculous healing with calm Canadian curiosity ("That must present unique logistical challenges"), while Methos wonders if this Mountie is the most frustrating-or the most honest-man he's met in five thousand years. Between immortal duels in the snow, wolfly judgment from Diefenbaker, and Fraser's insistence on filing incident reports for beheadings, an unexpected bond takes root. Careful sincerity collides with centuries of loneliness, until one heated argument tips into something neither of them can ignore. Because even for an immortal, some challenges aren't about logistics at all-they're about letting someone in.

Constable Elizabeth Fraser thought she'd spend her whole career policing the Canadian north. As a third generation Mountie, she knows how to track suspects through wilderness, handle a dog sled team, and press a scarlet tunic in a log cabin, but only knows American cities from family stories. Every day she strives to live up to her family legacy, but too often falls short of her own expectations. Yet when her best friend turns up dead, the trail leads to Chicago, where her old-fashioned skills are as welcome as a spring blizzard. The Chicago detective assigned to the case, an old friend's estranged son, wants nothing to do with Frasers or Mounties. To solve the case, she'll have to mend a broken family, adapt to a strange new place, while bringing her loyal wolf-dog and a dose of Yukon politeness, duty, and honour to the big city. In this Due South fan fiction, thirty years after Benton Fraser went to Chicago, his daughter follows in his footsteps. Content level (violence, profanity, sexual content) is similar to the TV show (on the clean side of mid-90s prime time network TV). No explicit sexual content or graphic violence. Contains spoilers for the original show. Complete. Also on AO3.

When Constable Benton Fraser of the RCMP is assigned to an international law unit in Metropolis, he expects smuggling cases, paperwork, and the usual tests of duty. He does not expect to meet Lex Luthor-billionaire, cynic, and a man used to being feared or courted, never believed in. Fraser's unshakable politeness and calm honesty cut through Lex's sarcasm and defenses, unsettling him in ways no enemy ever has. Lex calls him naïve, or perhaps dangerous. Fraser only insists on listening, on giving Lex a chance no one else will. Between ambushes in warehouses, wolves stealing gloves, and the kind of arguments that leave them breathless, their clash of cynicism and sincerity sparks into something neither planned: trust, attraction, and a kiss that feels inevitable. Because sometimes the most dangerous thing isn't darkness or power-it's being truly seen.

Detective Ray Kowalski thought he'd gotten used to life with Constable Benton Fraser - the politest, most infuriating Mountie in North America. But when a new consulate liaison starts flirting with Fraser, Ray finds himself dealing with a case far more dangerous than smuggling or shootouts: jealousy. Between diplomatic dinners, gunfire behind dumpsters, and a wolf with better emotional instincts than either of them, Ray and Fraser navigate the chaos of friendship that's become something deeper. Fraser insists jealousy is "an inefficient emotion." Ray insists he's "a thesaurus in a hat." Somewhere between those arguments lies a truth neither can ignore. Featuring coffee-fueled confessions, cross-border chaos, and one very judgmental husky, Emotional Efficiency (and Other Canadian Myths) is a story about love, loyalty, and the polite disasters that happen when a Mountie and a detective stop pretending they're just partners.

When Fraser's Stetson vanishes during a Chicago parade, it's not just a missing-hat case - it's a full-blown crisis of duty, honor, and deeply inconvenient emotions. Ray insists it's "just felt." Fraser insists it's "an emblem of national integrity." Somewhere between interrogating raccoons, outsmarting playground suspects, and arguing about laundry etiquette, the two of them manage to find the hat - and something else neither expected. It's a case of misplaced headgear, mild chaos, and the kind of affection that sneaks up on you when you're not looking.

When Constable Benton Fraser drags Detective Ray Kowalski into yet another case that spirals wildly out of control, Ray thinks the worst he'll suffer is frostbite, boredom, and a few bruised ribs. But between snowdrifts, exploding coffee contraptions, missing mascots, and one very opinionated wolf, Ray discovers that Fraser's steady presence means more to him than he's willing to admit. And Fraser, usually composed and impossibly polite, blurts out a confession at the least romantic moment imaginable-leaving them both to figure out what happens when partnership, loyalty, and love collide. Equal parts comedy and romance, this story follows Fraser and Kowalski through snow, coffee, wolves, and every complication that comes with falling for your partner.

This is simply a collection of first chapters of Fan-Fiction that I am in the process of writing. It will be updated when I continue writing new material. It is just a forum for storing my current projects. People are welcome to recommend which pieces would be best continued first though writer's block is a real pain at the moment so don't expect miracles. As all fan-fiction I do not own any of the original concepts only the new storylines. Warning: As first chapters there should be no explicit material but swearing is something that happens in some of my stories, be warned.

On his first trip to Ottawa, Chicago Police Detective Ray Vecchio just wanted to get a medal and a little hero treatment for saving a train full of Mounties. What advice did Benton Fraser give his daughter when she went to Chicago? This work appears in my post-canon serialized Due South novel, Northern Lights, as a letter of advice that Benton Fraser writes to his daughter Elizabeth before she travels to Chicago on the trail of her best friend's killers. I am posting it as a stand-alone work for fans who may be interested but don't want to read an entire novel. Can you guess where some of this advice comes from? For the context of this letter, see chapters 6 and 10 of Northern Lights.

One from the vault... Synopsis: Chicago's best detective team of cop, Mountie and wolf gets a helping hand from an Immortal when a headless corpse shows up in the stinking heat of a Chi-town summer, and things only get more complicated when cop, Mountie and wolf all find themselves quite enamored of the newest Highlander. Murder, mystery and romance all tangle together in a case that only gets more convoluted -and dangerous- the closer they get to the murderer... FYI - this particular story is a straight-up novel, when I was experimenting with writing crossovers and novelizations of TV shows and movies. It was a lot of fun, and amusing to see how many different entertainment references I could slide in... Primary references: Highlander, due South, Airwolf Mentioned in passing: Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Hellboy, Tales of the Gold Monkey, The A-Team New chapters drop once a week, Sundays/Mondays.
