Alexandra Mackenzie Robertson was born and raised in Western Canada to parents who never said "no" to a camping trip. When her parents weren't available, the Girl Guides taught Alexandra canoeing, bear safety, and to never leave the tent without her hat. Today, Alexandra enjoys hiking, singing in a choir, and writing stories that make readers laugh so hard their tea comes out their nose. If you visit the right part of Canada, you might find her fighting off grey jays by a turquoise lake.
