In the year 2017 people had attained an extremely specific mindset of what people should look like: what ever pleased the king. The goverment was internationally transformed into a complete dictatorship. The king's decisions were absolute. Girls and guys alike were all flocking to get surgery. The standard beauty was almost naturally unobtainable simply because it changed with the king's moods. However, the few of us that refused to let moods and opinions take control of our youth were sent to outcast island. An island were it was only us, but we loved each other for who we were. We were a family. Well, at least we were until the 'king' chose me.
