Julia finds the missing "Fillory and Further Book Six" manuscript and learns how they eventually defeat the Beast in a future timeline. She decides to use this knowledge and kill the Beast now. The problem is, someone must be sacrificed. When Quentin discovers Julia's plan, he must make an impossible choice between friendship and the greater good. This is my entry for SyFy's Battle the Beast Contest where the prompt was to write an alternate scene in which the characters from "The Magicians" TV series fought the Beast. Hope you enjoy it!!!! For the third time now, Quentin Coldwater and his friends have gone up against the Beast. But when they don't know what they've already tried, and Jane isn't willing to fill in any gaps, they have to work to find a way to defeat The Beast.

Quentin is kicked out of Brakebills and loses his memories of all things magic. Eliot finds him at Yale, looking to keep his promise and "seduce" Quentin into a better life. This is my entry for the #BattleTheBeast contest by SyFy for the show The Magicians. It has exactly 1,495 words. I hope you enjoy my simple twist on an amazing series!

The Magicians #BattletheBeast Fanfic where they have to find Omber in order to summon Umber to take away the Beast's immortality.

Penny turns on his friends and tries to use the Beast to his own ends. The Beasts had spun an elaborate trap for our favorite traveler.
