This is a series of poems that I've been writing on and off for the last few weeks. I've not written poems for over 10 years and all of a sudden started writing them again and figured instead of keeping them to myself like I did in the past I'd share them with people who may understand the words or relate to them. While I do accept criticism, please be aware that these come from a personal mental space and they are a part of my healing journey to get back into expressing myself rather than hiding myself. thank you for reading them if you choose to. I read Robert Frost's the Road Not Taken when I was very young. To me, its a call to be different, a call to break away from society. Frost implies a subtly shame to following others, and inspiring one to forge their own path different from the rest. This is inspiring and comforting yet it invokes a sense of angst and disappointment within myself, what if I am not meant to follow the road not taken?

These are just a progressive collection of poems I will be writing when I am in a dark place in my life and I just try writing down my thoughts and feelings and eventually it they turn into this. I have zero experience with poetry and I just write what sounds nice to me. So please bare that in mind when reading. I hope you enjoy :)
