Preach @Tankytoon I rly appreciate you voicing that out... The point you made is really important. And it’s also important (and seemingly difficult for some to understand) that having your own opinion and voicing it out is valid. It is important. But what you have to consider is, where and how you do decide to voice those things out. I loved the point you made on artists. So many of them are just trying to be best version of themselves and inspire other people to do so too, also trying to maintain a “good” image to be an example for younger fans, who look up to them. Of course there are exceptions but what does it say about society if one of the beforementioned artists makes a small, unintentional mistake and everyone goes off about the person? I’m not saying we should stop pointing out events, which offend people. But we simply have to watch our words when we do so. In no way anyone should receive death threats, regardless of what they did. There are more than 7 billion people in the world and if you cannot be bothered with this one person, why not focus your energy on someone else? Someone who appreciates you for you, makes you happy and helps you grow. Because let’s also keep in mind that we never finish learning. No matter how old we are, there is always a way to improve, regardless of what point in life everyone is right now.
