@heartsforhyuka I hadn’t straighten my hair in a year and I did it a few weeks ago close to Christmas and now I’m dealing with damage. It’s never happened to me before

So little story time um I feel like dying rn cause I decided weeks ago before Christmas to re-dye my hair and straighten it to see how the color looks straight.
Mind youuuu I hadn’t put heat on my hair for over a year and I had it straight for 2 weeks and when I washed it BAM heat damage. It’s mostly on my left side but it’s looking crazy and worst thing is it’s not only the ends so I can’t just cut the damage. I miss my curls sm this is unfair. And I didn’t use the straightener that much I use for as much as I have before and I never had damage so I think it was me dyeing it that same day.

@SeungminsJokes143 I’ve been doing hydrating masks and I did a protein treatment that helped me get my curls back last time but it did it do much cause this time it’s heat damage. I’ve seen a bit of improvement in the 2 weeks since I washed it and I’ve been doing it every 3 days (I’ll usually wait a week to wash)
