Verity said nothing when the female began to walk away, watching her figure exit the territory. After a while, Verity would turn around and walk towards another place in the forest, the meadow of black roses. Her features became void of emotions as she kept telling herself, Let them think what they want.

"If you were trying to prove that I held a role in your decision, my opinion does not matter. I told you, do whatever you want with it," she replied, her tone held a bit of amusement and curiosity of the creature that appeared and disappeared in a moment, seeing as though he was a strange being. Having a face of a man and body of something else entirely.

Verity shook her head and gave a disappointing sigh. The wariness wasn't a big deal for her. She only felt a slight pang of disappointment for trying to expect her to think like her, perhaps in other ways but not on the acorn, obviously. If she would look closer, it was half black and brown, so it would imply despite its blackness, the core is preserved as it would grow into a black and brown tree if taken cared of. However, Verity remained silent and allowed the female to think whatever she wished.

A soft chill would pass by her as a few dead leaves danced along the wind. A similar presence would now be felt as she sat by the large branch, near the trunk.

"Oh? It seems you have found the forest," Verity would speak in a low and smooth tone, no direct emotions on them whatsoever.

Verity laughed a good one, having the wind bring the words to her. Expecting nothing of this visit, she would then jump to the ground, creating a big circle of blackened grass on her bare feet. The fog picked up and thickened as the breeze blow a chilly one.

Walking slowly into the middle of the field she'd say, "There is no life in death, I'm afraid."
Looking up, she would blow the fog away as the hanging leaves of the trees bent towards her, brushing her body softly. As if to cover her. She may pay another visit some day.

Querencia-

Drix ambled into your board, his hands were full with his personal stuffs. He placed them down on the ground before he flops down, laying like a starfish on the ground.

Verity jumped down from the top of the tree, leaving a few scratches to her skin. When she landed on her feet, the blackened grass below her grew up as they elongated to take away the twigs and leaves on her body.

Turning around she saw Driz and jogged up to him, her usual hair up in a ponytail. "Rix," she greeted in recognition as her eyes looked over at her friend and the stuff around him.
