i do occasionally ask myself why i write
i don’t have a massive audience, and i don’t have a remarkable way with words (i’m looking at you, people who know exactly who they are)
i guess it’s just a way of sharing personal experiences, whilst hiding behind the chosen image of a made-up character
i get to show the happiest and saddest bits of my life, and the bits that i wish i could’ve done better, or even do at all
aaaah i honestly don’t know if this makes sense at all
i write for fun
sometimes it feels like a waste of time, i won’t lie
but i don’t think “green”, my new minsung book, will ever be a waste of my time
i feel so attached to it, because so much of it is based on my recent life
i just hope it can reach more people :)

i totally understand this. i’m someone who puts a little part of myself inside the characters that i write and in a way, it’s to express what is on my mind or simply it’s because it's a good way to attach yourself to that book and not grow bored of it. it makes your characters have real emotions and the best feeling is when someone relates to them because then you know, you are not alone. i will never regret writing my book in the same sense as you, i’m attached to it and when i see how much people enjoy it… that’s what motivates me the most
