There is a fear of being oppressed. The weight of someone that has access to guns and cells- the weight of someone watching. The weight of someone in power trying to deprive you of your rights.
I know, if I spoke wrong in front of those that make firearms their personality- the people that put so called loyalty to the country above empathy and curiosity- they would do what the people in power would want.
This isn't lawful, this isn't political.
If, for so long, you could say that your home was the land of the free and the home of the brave- why would you think loyalty means following the person who has proudly gone against the most instrumental laws that built our country. (You know what, or, who, else built our country? The people of color the white immigrants brought over so they wouldn't have to work.)
If you support a man who has saying such unloving things to all his neighbors- a man that has threatened, slandered, sued, and defunded the press- The people who use our veterans as gimmicks, just to toss them away right after-
Please, come back home. Be brave and fight for our freedom.
Unless you are the around 2.5% of the population that had your ancestors slaughtered by the pilgrims, we all have something in common.
We are all immigrants.
The de facto motto of America is "E pluribus unum," meaning "Out of many, one."
So, God bless America, and, to the ones that have forgotten that this country was built on rebels, that the Revolutionary War was fought between the Patriots and the Loyalists, it's not too late to join the fight.
