i haven’t been on this app in a couple of weeks & i came back today just to be completely appalled. firstly, i want to remind everyone that today, jan 30, is the nationwide strike against ICE. don’t go to work, don’t go to school, and DEFINITELY don’t make any purchases (especially if the first two are undoable). 
          
          secondly, because of my inactivity on wp, i haven’t been speaking out on issues like i usually do on my personal social media accounts. but i want to make one thing clear just in case some of u weren’t already aware of my stances. ABOLISH ICE & F*** TRUMP. this administration is barbaric & the way they’ve been trying to justify their horrific actions is beyond inhumane. i implore EVERYONE to stay informed, watch/read the news (ACTUAL NEWS, NOT JUST SOCIAL MEDIA), & to help however u can whether it be calling ur senators, striking, protesting, donating, or even just spreading awareness. i also beg that if u do not agree w/ any of this, UNFOLLOW ME. i do not want ppl who support the infringement of basic human rights to be following me or interacting w/ my stories in any way.
          
          LASTLY, i’ve been going thru some notifs, reading what ppl have been posting on their mbs, & to say i’m disgusted is an understatement. HAVING EMPATHY FOR PPL WHO ARE ACTIVELY WORSENING THE LIVES OF OTHERS IS NOT A FLEX!!!!!!! CALLING THEM “ACTIVISTS” IS AN INSULT TO *ACTUAL* ACTIVISTS. to sit there & say that these kind of ppl still deserve empathy even if u don’t agree w/ their beliefs & that ur a “mean” & “shitty” person if u think otherwise, is idiotic!!! do not go around saying some bs like that pls
          
          what’s going on in the u.s., & other countries like palestine, d.r. of the congo, sudan, iran, ukraine is devastating. the absolute very least any of us can do is to educate ourselves before commenting on important & dire issues & to spread awareness in any way u can.
