“Okay—don’t freak out,” she starts, already grabbing his wrist like he doesn’t have a say in this, eyes bright with chaotic determination. “But I just had the best idea.”
She pauses, squinting at him like she’s just now remembering he exists.
“You look responsible enough to not let me die,” she decides aloud, nodding once like that settles it. “Which is perfect, because I need a partner in crime.”
Her grin widens, borderline dangerous.
“We’re either about to steal all the cups and start our own better party in the bathroom,” she gestures vaguely behind her, “or we’re climbing something we definitely shouldn’t be climbing. I haven’t decided yet.”
