I truly believe a person can't really know themselves....until they read about someone like them, the only familiar mirror against accepting insanity. There's nothing better than finding a character who's like you in ways you never thought possible. Basically it's so much easier to laugh at yourself. You realize you're frickin hilarious, a goddamn dumbass. I really do love interesting personalities, crazy people, people who are messed-up, ridden with disorders and delusions, who dance with their devils yet turn to fight dragons. My characters are flawed, self-destructive and broken. Like me. Also a fan of blurred lines, alternate realities, and paranormal sights. Love it. In real life an on paper. 
On a personal note: my ex-boyfriend said I reminded him of a beautiful butterfly...squashed against a wind shield. Can't blame him really...
