I wouldn’t be mad if that author said something similar about me (like if she thinks my books are fast paced or undetailed etc etc) cuz I know it’s true. I also don’t mind her showing her opinion and saying that it’s not the type of book she’ll read. I apologise if in my book I came off as shady and salty, I promise that wasn’t my intention at all.
Even before the whole controversy, I had mentioned multiple times that I won’t be listening to anyone that asks me to change my writing style. I didn’t make it up just to bring in her name.
And might I add, that chapter (as well as most of the book) was written back in October, right after the drama. And you could say I was a bit salty at the time but I didn’t mean to insult her in anyway (which is also why I didn’t name-drop and I took down the controversy book)
