Wow I feel as if I haven’t been on here for a min, a lot has happened since I joined and I’m happy to say that I’m in a better place. I’m happy and I mean it this time.

Poetry has been regarded as important, not simply for pleasure, but as something central to each individual'’s existence, something of unique value, and something which makes us feel better off for having and which we are spiritually impoverished without. Yet I feel as if poetry isn't recognized enough, if it is so "important" then why don't I see it everywhere? If poetry correlates to our individual importance, then why isn't it equal?
