Hello! I'm Naomi, and I am an aspiring writer and poet!

For the most part, I love writing fantasy and fiction stories. I love dystopian worlds and magical powers and mythical creatures. I love mutants and wizards and vampires. I love romance and tragedy and mystery and action. Strangely, I love both happy endings and tragic ones. I love the supernatural and the impossible. And I write about all of it!

And honestly, I read a lot of the same stuff. In terms of series, I'm a big fan of: the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling; the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins; the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth; the Maze Runner series by James Dashner; the massive Warriors saga by Erin Hunter; the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan; the Arc of a Scythe trilogy by Neal Shusterman; the Blood of Stars duology by Elizabeth Lim; the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson; the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend; and many others. In terms of individual books/novels: I love "Daughter of the Deep" by Rick Riordan; "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens; "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein; "Tiger Eyes" by Judy Blume; "Stars and Smoke" by Marie Lu; and many others. 

But I'm also developing my poetry style. Though I began as a hater of free verse poetry, now it is something I write as much as I can! Isn't that weird? It's not the best poetry in the world, in fact it's probably not that awesome at all---but it is something that has helped connect me to my feelings, so maybe it can help you, too.
