My name is Essence and I'm 25. I hope that means I'm not the oldest one here. I heard about this site through a start up publishing guide for young writers and I consider myself a young writer.

I have a story idea, one that I really would like to get published in the near future but my writing is just not there yet. I need a few more years of practice.

Some stories I post will be from the book, some will just be what inspired me for the moment. But all of it will be in the hopes to improve my writing and to finish my first manuscript. 

I started writing this manuscript when I was eighteen years old. The idea came to me in a dream and now sometimes the writing comes from my fingers before the idea formulates in my head. This is how I got ahead of myself by finishing the third book in the series before the first one was even 75% done. 

I would love any help, advice, comments and constructive criticism to help me build on my writing.

Oh and if my story sounds really familiar, please let me know. Like I said, I got the idea from a dream and for seven years I've been hoping to get my book out before someone comes up with something similar.  But there are just too many books in the world for me to search through all of them.
