Life:
We take it for granted
Not respecting what we receive, 
But asking for more

We don’t stop to experience it
The magical part of life or to ask ourselves
Where we want to be or who we want to become 

It’s like a giddy child on Christmas,
Excited for the presents
But not realizing what they are actually celebrating

Life, it’s a rollercoaster filled with ups and downs 
Love, hurt, pain and anger
We can either let the bad emotions take over our happiness
Or have the happiness take over the bad

We have to decide one day to only go up
Leaving the past in the past,
To forgive and forget
And to learn and move on from our experiences 

We glide through life like the moon racing through the night filled sky
Not realizing the beauty and chances we get to live
