Hey! I saw the message you posted in the comment section of Gold Digger – Part 1. I wanted to reply there, but I wasn't able to, so I'm writing here instead. I hope this message finds you well.
First of all, don't worry. I have read her story, and it's completely different from mine. We may share the same trope or a similar concept, but the stories themselves are entirely different. In my story, it's trust issues and misunderstanding that separate Taehyung and Jungkook, whereas in her story, they communicate and work things out. The plots, scenes, and overall storyline are not the same.
To be honest, she's one of the best authors out there, and I'm actually one of her readers and subscribers. I enjoy reading her stories on YouTube myself.
That doesn't mean either of us copied the other. I never copied any of her work, and neither did she copy mine. If anything, the initial idea for Gold Digger was inspired by her channel. But inspiration and copying are two completely different things. The plot, characters, scenes, dialogues, and storyline are all the result of my own imagination.
I have a lot of respect for her as a writer, and I hope no one misunderstands that. Thank you for sharing your concern—it means a lot that you care enough to mention it.
