This is an Arthur Dayne fanfiction account.

This came from a desire to write Arthur Dayne stories, as I feel he was dealt a poor hand in the HBO show and is neglected in the books, despite that he is one of the more interesting characters. Although I like the character, he is by no means a do-it-all protagonist and has many blindspots and flaws. However, as his characterization in the books is limited, I have done my best to render him as I think he ought to be.

These chapters will alternate serially, focusing on Arthur's life both before his canon death, and then after, with the 'before' chapters leading up to the first chapter and the 'after'; chapters following this one. The chapters will either offer Arthur's perspective on events pre-Rebellion or be 'villain-of-the-week' episodes. There is no overarching conclusion or alternate-ending to Game of Thrones I am trying to move towards, despite the survival of this character. Assume everything else occurs as it might in canon, Arthur's survival has no impact on the wider story and everyone still assumes he is dead.

The larger events of the world post Robert's Rebellion will be alluded to but will not be a focus. These stories will not surpass the books' timeline.
