A voice calls out,
Not a scream, whisper or shout,
A soft melodic cry,
With a beautiful desperation they try,
A voice flies away
To be followed another day,
The wind mimics song,
The tune that's been sung so long,
A child is life releasing,
The demons wishing disappearing
As the notes fly away,
To the clouds that feel so grey,
A broken voice but not wavering,
A shattered heart but not breaking,
A soul made of tainted glass,
Eyes showing a pain that won't pass.
The monsters within,
Your poisoned, evil kin,
That reminds you of a past,
The dark secrets that will last,
Soar away from a land of green,
Not to the fiery pits of hell,
But The purgatory between,
The story only a flying song shall tell.
