Totally random question def asking for a friend don't read too much into it... (you don't have to answer if it's weird)
How did you know you were, y'know, not straight? And like, was your family supportive and/or were you raised to be okay with that? And uh, any advice to somebody who maybe sorta thinks that they might be slightly bisexual but is very very not sure and has a very very not supportive family? Sorry if it's personal, I just have like... nobody irl to even mention this to

@FreddieAndGeorgie22 oh ur perfectly fine for asking, dw abt it! I myself am technically pan, but because my family is not supportive at all rly, I’m deciding to label myself as gay (because I’m not telling them that I’m enbi/trans/genderfluid but I will still keep those titles). I was raised to believe that lgbt ppl are mentally ill and I shouldn’t talk/be friends with/ associate myself with the deceived “Satan worshippers”, so that caused me around middle school to lose a lot of friends for a short time.. ^_^” I kinda found out I wasn’t straight when I met this one girl who had a sort of personality that was very flirtatious yet very respectful and I at first thought I just thought she was cool and a role model for me due to my internalized homophobia, but after a lot of thinking and hangouts with her, I realized I liked her (ofc due to family concerns and beliefs, I was moved to a dif school and had to cut contact). My advice, if anything, would be to try to find out for certain if you are anything around bisexual or something else before coming to a conclusion, if you told your family now (which would cause a lot of issues I assume) and then realize otherwise, that has a chance of messing with your relationship with them even more. You can still experiment with things ofc, trying out stuff! Sry I don’t rly know what to say abt it, I’m still locking myself in the closet until I move out and even then ig.. Oh yea, also remember that ur never alone in whatever u do :] you’ll always be accepted somewhere!
