I write fantasy.
That's the short version.
Long version: The speculative fiction I write ranges among fairy tales, ghost stories, science fiction, high fantasy, urban fantasy, space opera, and (most recently) espionage thriller. My favored form is novel - usually epic in length because once I get going it's hard to stop! But I am starting to try my hand at more short stories, since I have a few ideas that don't need long treatment. And I am recently having a lot of fun with flash fiction (under 1000 words).
I have several series in the works, worlds which I am building, and novels I am in the process of writing.

I'm here on a purely experimental jaunt. There are a few more-or-less finished manuscripts in my collection, including some fanfic and some quite amusing juvenilia, which honestly will never be publishable. But who knows? Maybe someone will find some of it as amusing as I do!
