My name is Aboubaker Aidarus. I am a Somali Canadian writer and aspiring author from Toronto, Canada. My current project is a novel that really hits close to home for myself and thousands of my peers. It is the story of a young Somali Canadian boy and the struggles he goes through dealing with the difficult environment around him. With all the recent deaths of Somali youth my hope is that I create something that can have a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of our youth and bring about some benefit to our culture.
