Hey my lovely readers,
I owe you all an explanation and more than that, I owe you honesty.

I know I have been inactive for quite some time with no updates, no chapters, and no proper words. Trust me, it was never because I stopped caring. A lot has been happening in my life lately. Studies, personal matters, responsibilities, and everything seemed to come together at once. Along with that, Instagram reach going down affected my motivation more than I expected. When your words do not reach the people you write for, it slowly impacts your mindset.

There were many days when I sat down to write, genuinely wanting to pour my heart out, especially for Destined by Replacement. I truly want to write the remaining chps of that book. But every time I tried, something or the other happened. Sometimes it was interruptions, sometimes exhaustion, and sometimes I was simply not in the right state of mind to write properly. I do not want to post half hearted writing just for the sake of updates.

Writing needs peace of mind, and I was not in that space for a while.

But I have decided something now. From tomorrow, I will start writing again, slowly and little by little, without putting pressure on myself. And since I have already taken so much time, once I finish writing, I will post multiple chapters together instead of making you wait chapter by chapter.

Till then, please have a little patience with me. Focus on your own work, your goals, and your life as well. Stories will come, words will flow again, and I promise I will return with sincerity and better writing.

Thank you for staying, for waiting, and for understanding me even in my silence.
Your support means more to me than you know.

          	With love,
          	Adya ✨

Vanya_Raghuvanshi

"Seedha khadi rahiye," he murmured, tone innocent, hands... not so much.

As he wrapped the saree around her, his fingers lingered at her bare waist a second longer than necessary. Just enough to make her shoulders tense. Once-very lightly-he pinched her side.

          She gasped. "R-Raghav-!"

"Shhh," he said smoothly. "Saree pehna raha hoon."

          Liar.

He leaned in slightly to fix the pleats, fingers brushing against her back where the blouse dipped low. His touch was warm, teasing, unhurried.

          Vanya's breath turned shallow.

Pagal hai yeh aadmi, she thought, heart racing.
          Subah-subah hi shuru ho gaye.

He noticed the way she stiffened, the way her hands clenched at her sides.

          And smiled to himself.

"Relax," he whispered, voice low near her ear.
"Aapne hi kaha tha... main pehna doon."

She swallowed, cheeks burning, eyes fixed stubbornly on the wall in front of her.

Kabhi-kabhi lagta hai... yeh mujhe jaan-boojh ke tang karte hai.

Behind her, Raghav was enjoying himself far too much.

But beneath the teasing, his touch stayed careful. Protective. Familiar. Like he knew exactly where the line was-and exactly how to make her feel seen, wanted, flustered.

As he worked on the pleats, he thought quietly:

          > "Itni pyaari lag rahi hai woh,
aur unhein khud bhi ehsaas nahi,
har ek muskurahat qatl-e-aam karti hai,
aur woh masoom si, is raaz se anjaan hi sahi."

Aanya, stop," Adwait said, his voice slightly louder now, laced with warning.

She could see it-he was about to snap. Yes, yes, now he'll lose it, she thought, a thrill sparking in her chest.

But instead of reacting with anger, Adwait simply leaned back in the chair, eyes locked on hers. Then, without a word, he began to unbutton his shirt-slowly, deliberately-each movement exaggerated, until he yanked it off and tossed it aside.

Aanya's eyes widened. Her jaw dropped. Shock flooded her face.

"Ahhh! Shameless!" she shouted, spinning on her heel and making a dash for it.

But he was faster. Adwait stood in a flash, reached out, and caught her wrist mid-stride. She turned, her hand already balled into a fist, aiming straight for his face. But he caught it mid-air.

In one smooth motion, he twirled her under his arm like a dancer, then leaned in and pressed a bold kiss to her left cheek.

Her mouth dropped open again-outrage, disbelief, and something else flickering in her eyes.

She didn't hesitate. This time she lifted her knee, aiming for his stomach, but he caught her leg with ease. Sliding one arm under her knee and the other around her waist, he bent her slightly backward in a dramatic dip. Before she could wriggle free, he kissed her right cheek.

          Then-thud.

          He let go.

Aanya landed squarely on the floor, right on her backside.

Crossing his arms over his bare chest, Adwait looked down at her, a smug smile playing on his lips.

          "You lost," he said.
