It might be a bit late for me to talk about this, but a few days ago, I was scrolling online and got bombarded with the news about Nijiro Murakami being violent toward his ex-girlfriend.
For those who don't know who he is, he is a famous Japanese actor. He is best known for playing Chishiya in Alice in Borderland, Kazutora Hanemiya in Tokyo Revengers and Kaito in Still the Water.
Nijiro himself admitted to the police that he hurt her, and believe me, I was completely baffled.
I couldn't believe my favorite Japanese actor was an abuser.
He posted an apology on his social media, but it was so short and felt empty.
The moment I learned it was all true, I immediately deleted all the fanfictions I wrote about him that were sitting in my drafts.
I also unfollowed him on every single platform.
Call me overreacting if you want, but I absolutely do not support abuse or violence against women.
