They are not!!! Yes they are a band made of boys but if you say that then basically you're saying that green day is a boy band because they are made up of all boys. They both are not. They are a band. A boy band is a band of all boys who only sing. 5SOS SING, PLAY THEIR  OWN INSTRUMENTS, AND MAKE THERE OWN SONGS!!! SO DONT DAY THEY ARE A BOY BAND BECAUSE THEY ARENT
