I was born in a small village on the Atlantic Coast in the Caribbean, where I spent most of my childhood reading, swinging on tire swings, climbing trees and going to the beach. It wasn't until my high school years in New York City that I started writing, trying to preserve my never-ending vivid thoughts, imaginings and dreams on paper, or in this case, my trusty laptop named Lappy. I currently live in the Big Apple with my husband, my cat baby Jade, and my huge family.

Likes: 
1) reading and writing (duh)
2) movies (I enjoy everything except R-rated comedies, which I find disgusting)
3) cats (if I wasn't married, I'd probably be a very happy cat lady)
4) my husband (he puts up with me talking nonstop about my story ideas and dreams)
5) my family (parents, siblings, ten million cousins all included)
6) traveling (I've only been as far as Canada and California, but I've got big dreams). This also includes long car rides and road trips
7) rainy and cloudy days (so romantic, aren't they?)
8) any kind of beach and ocean
9) forests and mountains 
10) and oddly enough, fashion and makeup
11) Last but not least, Islam, my religion.

Dislikes: dogs (I was attacked as a child and will now cross the street, in traffic, to avoid one).
