I'm Amari, a 30-something, workaholic mother of a teen who is set out to make grey hair pop on my head like popcorn. Soon to be the mother of a cat. 

I write a lot about black women and women, focusing on identity, resilience, relationships, and cultural experiences, because that's who I know best as a French woman of African heritage. 

Travelling and learning about different cultures are my passions; they seep through in my writing. Don't hesitate to come and tell me about where you're from; it might be my next destination or a new character's home.

I write about annoying, infuriating, adorable humans, exploring themes like family, friendship, prejudice, and personal growth. You'll find many social themes in my stories.
