Hello friends,
          
          I hope your week is running smoothly.
          
          It's Labor Day in France today, so no work for me!
          
          I thought I'd check in to give you a few updates:
          
          I finished both ONC stories and entered them for the 3rd round. I gotta say, I don't think I'll ever enter two stories again. It was so stressful towards the end. I had to write the last 7 chapters of HER HOMELESS BOSS  in a single day. I trimmed here and there; I didn't have time to beta read. I woke up this morning and read. Some dialogue tags are missing, and there are a few typos. I'm livid, I can't modify because it's submitted.
          
          Honestly, I was going to give up on it, but then I thought, just do it—never mind, you can always clean it up once the results are out. It clearly deserved 10 more chapters. Anyway, fingers crossed.
          
          With my entries now submitted, I'm excited to return to my usual updates. I'll start drafting today and plan to begin publishing next week.
          
          On a related note, I've also decided to bring BORROWED SKIES to this account. Yes, I'm serving you the full-length novel on a tray here. Bon appétit! It's a story I really want to share with you. For those who have read the ONC entry, there will be a few changes, notably more swapping episodes. The ONC version will remain on the other account.

          Hope you're having a great week.
          
          I'm on a tight rope; I've got one week to finish the drafts for Her Homeless Boss. I finished those for Borrowed Skies. 
          
          I've been beta-reading both drafts. I don't know what either entry is worth, but my main goal is to meet the deadline. The furthest I've gotten on the ONC was the long list, so I'm hoping for the best.
          
          As you know, I'm also rewriting Tracksided, which is now called Sinking Ashore. The story has shifted to third-person past simple, which I feel is much stronger than my first-person attempt.
          
          I know most of you are waiting for updates. Please bear with me for 7 more days. I'll bake the chapters you deserve.
          
          I want to thank @Ola1046 and @petalandsnowink for reading and supporting my ONC stories. I'm sure other writers will agree that there's nothing worse than writing and not seeing the reader's reaction. Your comments are heartwarming.

          Mine was a busy one, like always.
          
          I have some great news to share. I'm still on my ONC mission. Both stories made it to round 3.
          I'm so shocked, HER HOMELESS BOSS is even a round 1 winner!
          
          Now I've got to finish both stories, so fingers crossed.
          
          Btw, congratulations to everyone who made it to the 3rd round of this year's ONC. Good luck for this last month!
