Question!
          Any writers writing a character from a different culture?
          How do you make your character culturally accurate and respectful?

I have written a first draft (working on second draft) of a young adult’s paranormal novel. I’m having trouble bringing up my main characters culture, she is biracial — white Australian (european) and South Asian.
          
          I have a side character (friend of main character) who is also biracial— white Australian (British) and Nepali. I have worked this character out.
          
          My problem is with the main character. 
          
          Any suggestions on what to do?
