But since you began with the essence of the show, readers are naturally trying to connect these characters to the original vibe. Arjun being slightly sweet and calmly discussing things with Sakshi in such a sensitive matter felt a bit out of tune with his core personality. In the show, when Riya touched Roshni’s case file, he reacted very strongly. That short-tempered, intense, emotionally guarded side of him is what many people loved. So here, when Sakshi directly touches a nerve and Arjun responds softly, it feels a little sudden. Of course, if you’re planning character development where something happened that softened him, that would make total sense — but maybe showing the reason gradually would help readers transition better. Right now, since the story has just begun, readers are still building their emotional connection with the characters. Sudden personality shifts at this stage might confuse those who are trying to relive that original spark. Once the connection is strong, you can take the characters anywhere — and readers will follow. That said, the story overall is really good and engaging. The story is genuinely going very well, and I’m really liking the new characters and the overall concept. The plot is engaging, and I can see the effort you’re putting into it. Since you asked for my honest opinion, I just wanted to share a few thoughts — purely as a reader who deeply loves these characters. About Sakshi’s behavior towards Sameer — I personally felt it was a little hard to digest. Sameer is her senior and a very strong personality. Not everyone is comfortable sharing personal matters, especially when it’s something between him and Arjun. It felt like Sakshi was unintentionally overstepping boundaries. Some things are private, even within a team, and that’s completely valid. Also, the way others were supporting her made it seem like Sameer was at fault, which felt slightly off. In the show, the team respected Sameer a lot. Yes, they were sometimes afraid of Arjun, but they genuinely respected Sameer. His personality was shown as strong, balanced, and dignified. He used to stand up to Arjun when needed. He had his own attitude and authority. Being sweet never meant he had less importance or a weaker presence. So when Shree says that Sameer shouldn’t say anything because Sakshi’s mood will get spoiled — that part was really hard to digest. The team would never talk to Sameer like that. They respected him deeply. Even Arjun, despite their differences, never insulted Sameer’s authority or reduced his position in that way. Their conflicts were intense, but there was always mutual respect underneath. That dynamic is very important to their characters.
