Call me Anu (please, I prefer it). Some years ago, I moved to the USA with my family from Nepal.
🇳🇵✈️ 🇱🇷
Back in Nepal, my childhood was spent running late to school in the morning, playing badminton in the evening or listening to my dad's narration of Hindu mythologies; Gods, Goddesses, brave warriors, and or tormenting Suras. I was so fascinated by these tales and his narration that I began to write stories. Though, my characters are very much from Earth and very much human. I hope they capture readers' hearts like those age-old tales had mine.
Things I like: chai, badminton, my characters, mild cheddar, gold (color), and other things I can't think of right now....
Favorite authors from the past century: Kate Chopin, Louisa May Alcott, Jane Austen, Lewis Carroll....
This story in particular that I am proud of as an immigrant and a citizen of America. Proudest I have ever been of myself. The story is about family and unity in the time of trouble.
